Kith Workspace
Message colleagues.
Share working files.
Kith is the internal workspace app of GaoYun · 高运. Anyone can install it and pick a username, but the account stays inert until our administrator approves it.
How access works
Install Kith, create a username, then ask our administrator to approve it. Until they do, the account does nothing at all — that gate is the point.
On iPhone, install from the App Store as normal. On Android, Kith is not on the Play Store, so you install it from the link here once it is posted — your phone will ask you to allow it, and may warn you the app did not come from the Play Store. Both are expected here.
Approval, not sign-up
Registering is the easy part and it gets you nothing. An account is inert until our administrator approves it, and approval only goes to people who work at GaoYun.
Conversations and groups
One-to-one and group chats, each with its own auto-delete timer. Whatever you set, no message stays on the server beyond 90 days. Files are different — they stay until you delete them.
Working files
A private file area with folders. Share links carry an expiry and a download cap, and can be revoked at any time.
Nothing to browse
No directory, no people search, no suggestions, no feed. You talk to the colleagues you are connected to, and that is the whole surface.
The account is a username
No email address. No phone number. No real name. No contact list. No location. Bringing a colleague on means issuing a username, and nothing else.
App lock
A passcode, and Face ID if you want it, so Kith stays shut even when your phone is unlocked.
